After many years of good riding, I’m putting my beloved Bianchi Osprey into semi-retirement, and getting a road bike. And I’m totally lost.
I’m looking to go a little hipster, and hook myself up with a very dependable, but also kinda slick single speed (not going all the way fixie yet). I plan on dropping a fair bit of cash into the process, but not a silly amount. However, I’m finding myself lost in a sea of sealed stems, hand-built wheels, and every color of pedals I can imagine. Any thoughts/recommendations of types of frames, components, and good questions I should be asking would be greatly appreciated.

In the midst of attempting to process a whole bunch of mask photos for tonight, something went terribly wrong, and it just kept running the action over and over again until the picture became this spooky thing.
It is kinda cool though.
