It's good to keep up with trends, but these days there are so many, it can be hard to filter the ones that matter from those that don't. This campaign revolved around the Hootsuite 2018 Social Trends Guide, an extensive content piece that highlights emergent trends that will be performance game-changers for social practitioners in the coming year.
The previous year's trend guide was by far our highest-performing content piece, and a substantial amount of ad spend would be backing the campaign. With a shoestring budget and in-house resources and talent, the team brought to life a cheeky concept that poked fun some of the more glaring flash-in-the-pan trends that social has been know for.
